Is your chimney sick? Is your chimney smokey, is your chimney leaky, do you have a bad fireplace smell? All of these problems can be diagnosed and repaired

Are you burning the right type of wood? Seasoned, dry hardwoods, with a moisture content of 15-25%, is the best wood to burn in your chimney. Woods such as oak,  maple, birch and hickory. Avoid soft wood or any wood that is water logged such as pine

Do you know what kind of fireplace you have? Your CSIA Certified Chimney Sweep can educate you in all areas of the care and maintenance of your fireplace

The best way to prevent a chimney fire is to have an annual inspection performed by a CSIA Certified Chimney Sweep.

A chimney fire can occur without anyone being aware of it. It’s important to have your chimney regularly inspected by a CSIA Certified Chimney Sweep

Continuing education not only keeps up Jonathan's national certification, but keeps him updated of the latest and best practices of the chimney industry with code and products. Jonathan uses only the best  UL listed products available in today's stadards

What to expect

Your experience will start with top rate customer service when you speak with Sara on the phone. She will assist you through the scheduling process and help you with any concerns along the way. Unfortunately, it is impossible to diagnose any chimney problem over the phone so we must schedule Jonathan to come and preform the appropriate level of inspection. Jonathan will be timely and ready to inspect and service your fireplace system. Prior to the appointment time, please move any items off the hearth and any furniture in the immediate area of the fireplace. Also, make sure no fire has been made for at least a full day before the sweep. There will be a vacuum so some noise is expected. Most pets are scared of this so plan accordingly. Drop cloths will be used to keep dust and debris off your furniture and floors. Your inspection will include a thorough examination of the chimney including a video scan. Allow for a few hours for a complete, clean, and thorough inspection. We look forward to your appointment!
